What You’ll Get To Do
- Maintain broad knowledge of product offerings and services of the organization.
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy and be an advocate for the customer.
- Accurate processing and data entry of phone, fax, and e-mail orders in accordance with cut off times and other time constraints.
- Cookordination between sales and production to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain good communication channels with product and support staff.
- Small project coordination/management.
- Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time.
- Cooordinat and resolve product or service problems.
- A minimum of 1 year previous customer service experience in customer facing role
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in construction or manufacturing industry in any setting
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, customer phone calls, prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite a must, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint; experience with EPICOR is a plus.
- Strong organizational and listening skills; positive work attitude.
- Strong attention to detail
- Need to have good working knowledge of fabrication and installation to have a good understanding of customer needs.
- Great ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally (oral and written)
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings, and specifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of aluminum glazing systems and their applications.
- Capable of working overtime when required.
- Occasional visits to the plant floor require following all plant safety rules.
