What You’ll Get To Do

  • Maintain broad knowledge of product offerings and services of the organization.
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy and be an advocate for the customer.
  • Accurate processing and data entry of phone, fax, and e-mail orders in accordance with cut off times and other time constraints.
  • Cookordination between sales and production to meet customer deadlines.
  • Maintain good communication channels with product and support staff.
  • Small project coordination/management.
  • Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time.
  • Cooordinat and resolve product or service problems.
  • What We’re Looking For

    • A minimum of 1 year previous customer service experience in customer facing role
    • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in construction or manufacturing industry in any setting
    • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, customer phone calls, prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong computer skills, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite a must, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint; experience with EPICOR is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and listening skills; positive work attitude.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Need to have good working knowledge of fabrication and installation to have a good understanding of customer needs.
    • Great ability to work in a team environment and independently
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally (oral and written)
    • Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings, and specifications is a plus.
    • Knowledge of aluminum glazing systems and their applications.
    • Capable of working overtime when required.
    • Occasional visits to the plant floor require following all plant safety rules.
