Responsibilities
- Gather patient data, schedule appointments, insurance verifications, track patient referrals, coordinate evaluations and reevaluations, and process cancellations and no show requests.
- Build and maintain a log of all reports sent to doctors.
- Collect all payments, complete insurance authorization, and follow up on insurance verification.
- Send benefits paperwork to billing companies.
- Fax reports to physicians.
- Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling and patient arrival.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity, and empathy toward people that are in pain.
- Great demeanor, strong integrity, and compassion.
