Responsibilities

  • Gather patient data, schedule appointments, insurance verifications, track patient referrals, coordinate evaluations and reevaluations, and process cancellations and no show requests.
  • Build and maintain a log of all reports sent to doctors.
  • Collect all payments, complete insurance authorization, and follow up on insurance verification.
  • Send benefits paperwork to billing companies.
  • Fax reports to physicians.
  • Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling and patient arrival.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented.
  • Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity, and empathy toward people that are in pain.
  • Great demeanor, strong integrity, and compassion.
