Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-line phone system and serve as the primary point of contact for patients, physicians, and referral sources.
  • Schedule new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, re-evaluations, cancellations, and appointment reminders while coordinating clinician schedules.
  • Collect and maintain new patient intake information and track referrals from physicians and other providers.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, monitor authorized visits, collect patient payments and copayments, and process insurance-related documentation.
  • Prepare, transmit, and maintain logs of clinical reports and documentation sent to referring physicians.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and forward billing documentation to the billing company.
  • Cook up communication among patients, clinicians, and office management to ensure efficient daily clinic operations.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, provide scheduling and treatment information, and serve as a patient liaison to deliver excellent customer service.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to providing exceptional service to patients experiencing pain or mobility challenges.
  • Proficient in working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
