About the role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. This position offers 24/7/365 flexibility and requires a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for Military Sailors and their families, providing support through various channels including phone, e-fax, email, chat, and more.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries using CRM systems and other essential software applications.
- Enter necessary information into systems and web forms accurately.
- Receive training on relevant military programs and applications to support customers across the US and abroad.
- Work towards opportunities for growth, potentially becoming a Shift Supervisor or Specified Team member based on performance and skill level.
Requirements
- DOD Secret Security Clearance Eligible
- Experience in customer service and handling requests for information in a timely manner, with contact center experience preferred
- Experience with CRM systems and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and operational processes
- Ability to build rapport with customers, identify concerns, and utilize CRM systems to resolve issues
- Knowledge of printer functions, connectivity, and basic troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical actions and solutions clearly
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to type at least 30 words per minute
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends, as required
