Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and text messages while providing responsive support
- Schedule appointments, respond to billing inquiries, and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, policies, and procedures
- Cover patient records with confidentiality and attention to detail
- Process wellness plans contracts and schedule recurring payments
- Prepare documents for boarding and surgery
- Schedule surgery/dental procedures
- Room euthanasia appointments and review consent with clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (veterinary experience ideal)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel welcomed and at ease
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work effectively and communicate clearly within a team
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine love for animals
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Able to meet physical demands, including sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods
- Satisfactory background and drug screenings
