Job Responsibilities

Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and routine deliveries to departments throughout the health department in a timely manner.

Process official Release of Information (ROI) requests and maintain secure health records in accordance with confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA.

Accurately issue negative test result notifications to clients or healthcare providers.

Monitor inventory levels throughout the health department and review supply requisitions submitted by staff.

Process orders for medical and office supplies and ensure requested items are available as needed.

Deliver ordered supplies to the appropriate departments or designated storage areas.

Conduct periodic inventory audits to track stock levels, minimize waste, and prevent supply shortages.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 1 (GST120) or position equivalent.
