Customer Service Representative - Harrison Clinic
About the role
The Customer Service Representative will schedule appointments on behalf of therapists, run reports, take co-pays and provide information directly to current and potential clients of Arisa Health. The ideal candidate will have one year of experience scheduling appointments within a medical office.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments on behalf of therapists and proactively work to fill open spots on therapists' calendars when cancellations arise
- Check clients in and out in a timely manner
- Complete pre-appointment checks for clients
- Prepare and maintain client records, maintain accuracy of fee agreements, update eligibility, assess that needed pre-certifications and authorizations are in place
- Provide timely notification of appropriate staff as needed for entry of authorizations
- Answer phones, take accurate messages and route calls as appropriate
- Collect payments in accordance with Arisa Health payment policy and enter payments into the Electronic Health Record
- Reconcile reports within the Electronic Health Record and work with staff on problems related to weekly reports and billing issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to multitask
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and organize workload
- Problem-solving mindset
- Excellent telephone skills
- Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business
Qualifications
- One year of experience in a medical office is preferred

Pay
This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
Schedule
Work Hours: Full time, Monday - Thursday; 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
