Customer Service Representative - Edwards

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Pays out and receives money, accurately keeping records of cash and negotiable instruments.
• Maintains a balanced cash drawer and resolves errors and discrepancies.
• Buys and sells currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
• Understands and applies features and benefits of Alpine Bank products and services.
• Answers basic customer inquiries and cross-sells when appropriate.
• Works effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fulfills all bank policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Customer service oriented individual.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilizes available training programs and measurement tools to exceed customer expectations.
• Basic mathematical and cash handling skills.
• Basic keyboard navigation ability.
• Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including Outlook and Word) is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Working Conditions

• Working Environment: Clerical office setting.
• Physical Activities: Standing for long periods, good eyesight and hand/finger dexterity, ability to handle some mental stress, repetitive motion, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Starting Rate of Pay

From $21.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
