About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic Credit Union team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This role demands a unique blend of customer service skills, banking knowledge, and financial expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all inbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize your keen understanding of our products and services to cross-sell to existing and potential customers.
- Handle account maintenance tasks, ensuring all customer accounts are up-to-date and accurate.
- Demonstrate your cash handling abilities by processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Use your knowledge of Symitar software to manage customer data and transactions.
- Deliver a consistent and professional level of service within a call center environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
- Continually update your knowledge of banking regulations and credit union policies to ensure compliance.
- Provide feedback on customer interactions and issues to help improve our service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role within the banking or finance industry.
- Proven experience with Symitar software is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Prior experience in a call center environment, handling inbound calls.
- Demonstrated ability in account maintenance and cash handling.
- Excellent cross-selling abilities, with a strong understanding of banking products and services.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers.
- Sound knowledge of banking regulations and credit union policies.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
