Customer Service Representative

About the role

Waterway is hiring Customer Service Associates at multiple locations including Leawood, Overland Park North, Overland Park South, and Stateline. Join our dynamic team where every day is an opportunity to shine and make an impact with exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers entering the convenience store, pay terminal area, or fuel pumps and be responsive to their needs.
• Identify customer needs and present complimentary solutions for car wash services and membership options.
• Effectively present and sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in both outside and inside areas, ensuring a positive visit for every customer.
• Stock and organize convenience store merchandise, keep displays clean and well-presented, and take inventory as directed.
• Follow Waterway policies, procedures, and instructions, including safety guidelines.
• Perform various administrative and transactional functions to meet customer demand and store staffing needs.
• Complete tasks at a fast pace, sustain consistent physical effort, and maintain a calm and professional disposition in all circumstances.

Qualifications

• Be friendly and engaging with a positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
• No prior experience required, but experience in customer service, retail, or sales is preferred.
• Current and valid drivers' license; professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy.
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others.
• Ability to comply with local/State health code requirements for soda fountain and food service/sales.
• Meet local/State minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol sales (where applicable).
• Ability to complete all required trainings/certifications to perform any of the required functions.

Benefits

Compensation: Average $20/hour ($16/hr base + up to $5/hr sales bonus)

Schedule: Flexible schedules including daytime, evening, mid-week and weekend shifts that suit your availability.

Locations: Positions available at Leawood, Overland Park North, Overland Park South, and Stateline locations.
