Customer Service Representative

About the role

Waterway is hiring Customer Service Associates at multiple locations including Chesterfield, Woodsmill/Town & Country, Westport, and O'Fallon. Join our dynamic team where every day is an opportunity to shine and make an impact with exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers entering the convenience store, pay terminal area, or fuel pumps and be responsive to their needs.
• Identify customer needs and present complimentary solutions for car wash services and memberships.
• Effectively present and sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in both outside and inside areas, including restrooms and customer waiting areas.
• Stock and organize convenience store merchandise, keep displays clean and well-presented, and take inventory as directed.
• Follow Waterway policies, procedures, and instructions, including safety guidelines.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as making bank deposits, picking up or delivering supplies, and meeting customer demand and store staffing needs.
• Perform other functions as identified and directed by management.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
• No prior experience required, but experience in customer service, retail, or sales is preferred.
• Current and valid drivers' license.
• Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in compliance with company policy.
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others.
• Ability to comply with local/State health code requirements for soda fountain and food service/sales.
• Meet local/State minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol sales (where applicable).
• Ability to complete all required trainings/certifications.

Benefits

Compensation: Average $21/hour ($18/hr base + up to $5/hr sales bonus)

Schedule: Flexible schedules including daytime, evening, mid-week and weekend shifts that suit your availability.

Locations: Positions available at Chesterfield, Woodsmill/Town & Country, Westport, and O'Fallon.
