The Customer Service Representative plays a central role in Virginia Mason Medical Center's ambulatory clinic, ensuring every patient feels respected and comfortable. Key responsibilities include managing calls, scheduling appointments, rooming patients, coordinating daily schedules, processing revenue, communicating test results, and addressing patient concerns. The role leverages the Virginia Mason Production System to enhance efficiency and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly manage calls and schedule appointments

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Six (6) months customer service or medical setting experience or Associate degree
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, upbeat attitude
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communications
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrative and clinical staff

Preferred

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
