About the role
Uptown Animal Hospital & Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to lead our team in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our animal patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the community.
Responsibilities
- Treating a variety of medical and surgical cases under the supervision of the hospital's veterinarians.
- Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries in animals.
- Performing routine examinations, administering medications, and drawing blood samples.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Providing emotional support and education to pet owners during challenging times.
Requirements
- A Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Washington.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
$150,000 - $180,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
