About the role
The University of Florida College of Dentistry is seeking a Clinical Service Representative to join the Dental Records/Patient Registration team.
Responsibilities
- Aid the Patient Registration Area with management of patient check-in, answering phone calls, and handling questions.
- Learn and perform tasks related to axium usage, scanning, and collecting and documenting PHI.
- Accurately enter insurance information, collect signatures for consent forms, and professionally answer calls from patients and internal personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby and comply with safety and security requirements.
- Duplicate records as needed and complete documentation of actions taken.
- Cross-trained to fill in for immediate supervisor during absences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Computer skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to understand and apply rules, priorities, policies, and procedures.

- Preferred: Ability to establish and maintain good work relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
