Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

  • Aid customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with U-Haul products and services.
  • Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Maintain and inspect U-Haul trucks and trailers, including checking fluid levels.
  • Answer customer questions and provide product/service education.
  • Prepare and accept rental invoices and return equipment.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane (certification provided).
  • Operate a forklift (certification provided).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule

  • Two hands-on working interviews to start.
  • Start working immediately after interviews.

Pay

  • Pay based on performance and qualifications.

Physical Demands

  • Long periods of remaining stationary.
  • Move around indoors and outdoors.
  • Position oneself to reach objects at varying heights.
  • Move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
