Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

  • Aid customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with U-Haul products and services.
  • Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Maintain and inspect U-Haul trucks and trailers, including checking fluid levels.
  • Answer customer questions and provide product and service education.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane tanks (certification provided).
  • Operate a forklift (certification provided).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

U-Haul offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification certification program.

Schedule

Applicants can start immediately and receive pay for each hands-on working interview conducted.

Physical Demands

The position involves some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
