Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders and quotes into ERP system (Cloud Suite Distribution)
  • Provide support for field sales team via quoting, order entry, and order statuses
  • Aids field sales with new part setups, sourcing requests, and non-stocks with Corporate Purchasing
  • Proactively identifies issues and provides solutions
  • Provides suggestions for cost savings, process improvement, and enhanced customer service
  • Demonstrates product knowledge proficiency by utilizing all resources available to stay current
  • Utilizes ticketing system for communications with internal and external customers (Zendesk)
  • Works closely with other departments to provide exemplary customer service

Qualifications

  • Effective individual contributor with the ability to successfully work within a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Communicate and behave in a professional manner at all times
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to meet appropriate deadlines
  • Detail oriented and results focused
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Effective time management skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical information
