Responsibilities
- Enter customer orders and quotes into ERP system (Cloud Suite Distribution)
- Provide support for field sales team via quoting, order entry, and order statuses
- Aids field sales with new part setups, sourcing requests, and non-stocks with Corporate Purchasing
- Proactively identifies issues and provides solutions
- Provides suggestions for cost savings, process improvement, and enhanced customer service
- Demonstrates product knowledge proficiency by utilizing all resources available to stay current
- Utilizes ticketing system for communications with internal and external customers (Zendesk)
- Works closely with other departments to provide exemplary customer service
Qualifications
- Effective individual contributor with the ability to successfully work within a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Communicate and behave in a professional manner at all times
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to meet appropriate deadlines
- Detail oriented and results focused
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Effective time management skills
- Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical information
