About the Role
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas, performing janitorial duties while maintaining safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule, including janitorial tasks
- Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain its upkeep
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other employees on assigned tasks
- Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision professionally
- Communicate with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
- Fill in during staff shortages and support shift leads in completing punch-list items
- Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand customer service principles and reporting systems
Requirements
- 3–6 months of training or experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Valid driver’s license may be required
- Completion of all safety and task training certifications
- Forklift certification may be required
Skills
- Bilingual ability is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals, including their safe and efficient use
- Willingness to share knowledge with the team
Physical Demands & Work Environment
The role requires frequent sitting, talking, and listening. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Pay
$14 – $15 per hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
