Customer Service Representative

About the Role

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas, performing janitorial duties while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule, including janitorial tasks and operating motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and report incidents or hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Work collaboratively with team members and support shift leads in completing punch-list items
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a clean work area and following all protocols and company procedures
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
• Fill in during staff shortages and present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service principles, reporting systems, and environmental protocols

Requirements

• 3–6 months of training or experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Completion of all safety and task training certifications
• Forklift certification may be required
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals, including their safe and efficient use

Skills

• Bilingual ability is a plus
• Willingness to share knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment with the team
• Understanding of equipment upkeep and care

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to sit, talk, or listen
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Schedule

• Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Tue–Sat 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Pay

$14.75–$15.75 per hour
