Customer Service Representative

About the role

Customer Service Representative responsible for assisting customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and ensuring excellent service. Work with customers inside and outside the center, providing product and service information. Use technology to manage rentals, dispatch equipment, and verify returns.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment, including checking fluid levels and installing hitches.
• Assist with moving and hooking up trucks and trailers.
• Drive forklifts (certification provided).
• Prepare rental invoices.
• Educate customers about products and services.
• Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Open availability preferred for mornings and evenings.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Involves moderate risks, safety precautions, and physical exertion such as moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs and working outdoors and indoors. Protective gear may be required.
