About the role
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support sales activities and deliver responsive service to clients in San Francisco, California. The role centers on order coordination, client follow-up, and day-to-day sales support while helping ensure a smooth customer experience from quote to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer pricing details and sales quotes accurately in partnership with the sales team.
- Track purchase activity and vendor commitments to help keep orders moving on schedule.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email to provide updates on order progress and answer service-related questions.
- Resolve order, delivery, and shipping concerns by coordinating with sales colleagues, vendors, and management.
- Enter and maintain order information in company systems with strong attention to detail.
- Handle inbound customer inquiries professionally and make outbound follow-up calls as needed.
- Support a busy showroom and office environment by balancing multiple requests and shifting priorities effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, retail, or a similarly fast-paced service environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable using computer systems for order entry, tracking, and general administrative support.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with consistent follow-through on assigned work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new products, processes, and tools.
- Ability to collaborate closely with a team and adjust as workload levels change.
- Background knowledge in textiles, interior design, or fine art is preferred.
