Contract opportunity in Eugene, Oregon supporting second-shift operations.
About the role
This position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, enjoys helping customers, and works well in a structured call center environment. The role offers paid training, follows established call guidance, and may lead to long-term employment based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of customer interactions by phone while delivering courteous, efficient, and accurate support.
- Respond to primarily inbound inquiries and complete outbound follow-up calls when additional communication is needed.
- Use approved scripts and service guidelines to provide consistent information and maintain quality standards.
- Enter call details, customer updates, and service outcomes accurately into the appropriate systems.
- Participate in training and coaching sessions to build product knowledge, service skills, and process understanding.
- Support second-shift coverage, including weekend hours as scheduled, to help meet customer demand.
- Follow all compliance, screening, and workplace policies required before and during assignment.
- Contribute to a smooth customer experience by resolving routine concerns and escalating more complex issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar phone-based role.
- Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute, with faster and more accurate keyboarding preferred.
- Comfortable working a second-shift schedule, including hours such as 1:00 PM–9:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
- Successful completion of required background screening, drug testing, and any pre-employment checks before start.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow structured workflows and scripted guidance.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus and may qualify for additional hourly compensation.
Schedule
- Second-shift coverage, including weekend hours as scheduled.
- Typical hours: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
