Responsibilities
- Interact with customers by phone, email, or in person to provide support and product/service information, serving as a liaison between customers and the company
- Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services
- Field customer questions and complaints; escalate issues beyond the representative’s knowledge to the appropriate specialist or staff member
- Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns
- Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and comments
- Support daily operations through dispatch coordination and scheduling of drivers and technicians, while maintaining accurate records, reporting, and internal systems
- Assist with administrative and compliance-related tasks to support operational efficiency and business needs
- Assist customers with filling propane cylinders at the bottle dock station
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred
- Experience in the propane industry preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Service-oriented, with the ability to resolve customer grievances effectively
- Proficient with computers and able to learn software as needed
- Proficient in the current Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn additional software tools
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to safely assist with duties around the plant
- Must pass a pre-employment screening and background check
