Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding support to our customers. This position involves actively addressing inquiries, effectively resolving issues, and fostering a positive customer experience at every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchase orders, including order entry, acknowledgment, part setup, and pricing verification.
• Manage customer accounts and handle communications via phone and email.
• Adept and provide support for additional accounts as needed.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers.
• Enter purchase order requisitions.
• Report and resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain organized files.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience required.
• Less than 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in extrusion or manufacturing customer service.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle P.O. management.
• Preferred: Exposure to inventory and planning processes.
• Preferred: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of AS400.
• Preferred: Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Preferred: Proficient in handling customer interactions via telephone and email.
• Preferred: Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
• Preferred: Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Preferred: Strong math skills.

Skills
