Customer Service Representative
About the role
You will process sales orders using the material requirements planning database system.
You will provide customers with pricing, availability, order status and product information.
You will assist in resolving customer order issues and inquiries.
You will ensure adherence to department procedures and customer purchase order requirements.
You will maintain compliance with export and accounting procedures.
You will file and manage invoices, purchase orders, export documents and related records.
Responsibilities
- Process sales orders using the material requirements planning database system
- Provide customers with pricing, availability, order status and product information
- Aid in resolving customer order issues and inquiries
- Ensure adherence to department procedures and customer purchase order requirements
- Maintain compliance with export and accounting procedures
- File and manage invoices, purchase orders, export documents and related records
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of customer service experience
- Experience working with material requirements planning systems (e.g., Oracle) and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including professional and positive phone presence
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
Skills
- Customer service experience
- Material requirements planning systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
