Customer Service Representative

Full-time, Part-time

Pay

$16–19 an hour

Responsibilities

• Answer phones to direct callers to the proper department or answer questions.
• Finalize orders, take payments, and schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Process returns and initial paperwork for warranty claims.
• Make changes and cancellations to orders when appropriate.
• Update customers on changes to their order status.
• Process finance applications.
• Support showroom Sales Consultants by assisting with questions and processing orders.
• Process sales for accessories and other small purchases.
• Occasionally work the sales floor following HOM Furniture’s proven sales methods.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Physical Demands

• Low physical demands required.
• Regularly required to sit for sustained periods of time.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
