Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative is the face of Old Town Trolley Tours of Nashville. This position involves giving accurate information and guiding customers to the tours. The representative controls guest lines and organizes tour departures to ensure they stay on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Hand out brochures and direct guests to the ticket booths or closest stop.
• Provide local tourism-related information with accuracy.
• Aid in boarding passengers and ensure guest satisfaction during boarding to meet scheduled departure times.
• Report ridership numbers to the dispatcher at required intervals.

Requirements

• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse cast and the general public.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous individuals.
• Strong customer service experience preferred.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing.
• A passion for helping people and making their Nashville experience memorable.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• An outgoing personality and enjoyment of interacting with the public.
