Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments across multiple specialty departments.
- Collapse appointment details and ensure medical records and diagnostic images are available prior to visits.
- Confirm appointments and provide clients with preparation and care instructions.
- Prepare treatment plan estimates, paperwork, and required documentation for patient arrivals.
- Provide professional and compassionate communication with clients throughout the patient care process.
- Answer client questions and help guide families through specialty veterinary care.
- Maintain accurate records and support efficient front desk operations.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and hospital teams to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary, medical, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to excellent client service
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and veterinary team members
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) is a VECCS Level 1 certified emergency and specialty hospital located in Charleston, SC. Our hospital provides advanced veterinary care through a collaborative team of emergency clinicians and specialists. Specialty services offered at CVRC include Critical Care, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Anesthesia, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery. Our newly renovated 32,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility features advanced diagnostic technology, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiography.
