Job Description

The Position

  • Serves as the primary contact for customers.
  • Responsible for taking orders, creating deliveries, handling inquiries, complaints, residuals, claims, and refunds.
  • Understands and possesses knowledge about various Continental ContiTech products, their manufacturing, and applications.
  • Keenly understands ContiTech's plant structure and processes for expeditious resolution of customer issues.
  • This position is hybrid, allowing applicants to report to either the Fairlawn, OH or Lincoln, NE plant.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma/GED.
  • Experience in Customer Service (inbound calls).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with self-motivation and goal orientation.
  • Comfortable interfacing with customers and internal departments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Understanding of commercial, shipping/logistics, and manufacturing processes.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • Professionalism and confidence in communicating with customers via phone and email.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
