About the role

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic (QVC) is seeking professional and compassionate Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to join their veterinary reception team in both the Large Animal and Small Animal departments.

Department Schedules

• Small Animal Reception: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Call Center: 11AM – 7PM

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
• Greet clients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Schedule appointments and update patient/client records
• Respond to client questions and provide general information
• Process invoices and payments
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Monitor patient flow and communicate with hospital staff as needed
• Absorb and perform clerical duties including filing, email communication, and record maintenance
• Absorb and assist with over-the-counter sales of diets and retail items

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience required
• Veterinary or medical office experience preferred, but not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
• Professional demeanor and dependable attendance
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients

Physical Requirements

• This position requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, and the ability to use computers and phones for extended periods of time.
