About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a pivotal role in helping people access financial solutions in their community. This entry-level position offers hands-on training, coaching, and development to support your long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers to build lasting relationships.
  • Review, validate, and process customer transactions accurately.
  • Offer personalized financial services to meet customers' needs.
  • Enter and maintain customer information with precision into a POS system.
  • Maximize customer success by completing daily call campaigns.
  • Aid in customer account management and collections.
  • Perform duties outside the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
  • Participate in in-store and community events.
  • Maintain the store's appearance and meet cleanliness standards.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures, and adhere to local, state, and federal laws.
  • Engage in ongoing training and stay updated on product and process changes.
  • Work efficiently in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks.
  • Conduct additional tasks as directed by leadership.
  • Maintain a full-time work schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
  • Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
  • At least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing up to 90% of the time, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing is a plus.
  • Prior cash handling and cash drawer/vault management experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
