About the role
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a pivotal role in helping people access financial solutions in their community. This entry-level position offers hands-on training, coaching, and development to support your long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Connect with customers to build lasting relationships.
- Review, validate, and process customer transactions accurately.
- Offer personalized financial services to meet customers' needs.
- Enter and maintain customer information with precision into a POS system.
- Maximize customer success by completing daily call campaigns.
- Aid in customer account management and collections.
- Perform duties outside the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
- Participate in in-store and community events.
- Maintain the store's appearance and meet cleanliness standards.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures, and adhere to local, state, and federal laws.
- Engage in ongoing training and stay updated on product and process changes.
- Work efficiently in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks.
- Conduct additional tasks as directed by leadership.
- Maintain a full-time work schedule, including weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- At least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing up to 90% of the time, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing is a plus.
- Prior cash handling and cash drawer/vault management experience is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
