About the role
Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team and deliver top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to customers regarding waste collection services, billing, and account management.
- Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently to ensure a positive experience.
- Process service requests, cancellations, and account updates with accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide clear information about services, policies, and procedures.
- Follow up with customers to confirm issue resolution and satisfaction.
- Aid with reporting and documentation as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in customer service or related fields is a plus.
Previous experience as a customer service representative, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in customer service software and other relevant computer applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
