JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Provide courteous customer service in person, by telephone and through email.
- Answer customer questions regarding water and wastewater utility services.
- Process utility payments and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Balance daily cash receipts and process deposits.
- Process mail and perform general administrative support duties.
- Assist with utility billing functions and payment arrangements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years general office experience involving significant public contact.
- A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Experience handling cash and balancing daily receipts.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
