Customer Service Representative
About the role
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a Customer Service Representative for a glass decal manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional to join a growing team and develop into an Account Coordinator role over time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support customer communication through phone calls, emails, and order updates
- Aid with order entry and review purchase orders for accuracy
- Maintain accurate customer records, order notes, approvals, and documentation
- Track samples, proofs, revisions, and customer approvals
- Follow up on missing information needed to keep orders moving forward
- Cook with internal teams including production, shipping, purchasing, and quality
- Coordinate with internal teams including production, shipping, purchasing, and quality
- Monitor critical or time-sensitive orders and communicate updates
- Aid with new customer setup and onboarding processes
- Prepare reports, documents, labels, and other administrative materials as needed
- Maintain professional and timely communication with customers and team members
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous customer service, administrative, order entry, or manufacturing office experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, and data entry systems
- Ability to learn customer requirements, products, and internal processes
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions or escalate concerns
