About the role
This is an on-site role, and will not be remote or hybrid, at any time.
Responsibilities
- Help customers determine the right Colorado Best Block product to meet their needs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customers (walk-in and call-in)
- Provide technical assistance for installing and maintaining the products we sell
- Accurate and detailed order entry, input customer information, pricing and additional data
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers and accounts
- Coincide closely with dispatch to schedule deliveries and manage customer expectations
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status, lead times and changes
- Balance cash drawer and create cash & credit card reports daily
- Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of products and their applications and know major competitor product lines
- Aid with Centralized Dispatch and maintain delivery fleet compliance requirements
Requirements
- Minimum education required: High School Diploma with average to above math skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Available to work 40 or more hours per week
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a consistent basis and 50 lbs or more on a random basis
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time
Qualifications
- Inside sales experience is a plus
- Experience in building materials industry is also a plus
