About the role

This is an on-site role, and will not be remote or hybrid, at any time.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers determine the right Colorado Best Block product to meet their needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customers (walk-in and call-in)
  • Provide technical assistance for installing and maintaining the products we sell
  • Accurate and detailed order entry, input customer information, pricing and additional data
  • Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers and accounts
  • Coincide closely with dispatch to schedule deliveries and manage customer expectations
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status, lead times and changes
  • Balance cash drawer and create cash & credit card reports daily
  • Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of products and their applications and know major competitor product lines
  • Aid with Centralized Dispatch and maintain delivery fleet compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum education required: High School Diploma with average to above math skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Available to work 40 or more hours per week
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a consistent basis and 50 lbs or more on a random basis
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • Inside sales experience is a plus
  • Experience in building materials industry is also a plus
