Responsibilities

  • Create and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Initiate billing cycles and verify charges to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate freight quotes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding customer service via email and phone.
  • Manage frequent customer communication, primarily through email correspondence.
  • Handle approximately 100–200 emails and updates daily regarding shipments, delivery information, customer concerns, and service requests.
  • Provide shipment status updates and proof of delivery (POD) documentation to customers.
  • Cook up internally with warehouse and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively to resolve customer inquiries and maintain strong relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent data entry and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume email inbox while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, freight, supply chain, or related industries is a plus.
  • Previous billing, invoicing, or administrative experience is beneficial.
