Responsibilities
- Create and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Initiate billing cycles and verify charges to ensure accuracy.
- Generate freight quotes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding customer service via email and phone.
- Manage frequent customer communication, primarily through email correspondence.
- Handle approximately 100–200 emails and updates daily regarding shipments, delivery information, customer concerns, and service requests.
- Provide shipment status updates and proof of delivery (POD) documentation to customers.
- Cook up internally with warehouse and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Communicate professionally and effectively to resolve customer inquiries and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent data entry and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage a high-volume email inbox while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, freight, supply chain, or related industries is a plus.
- Previous billing, invoicing, or administrative experience is beneficial.
