Customer Service Representative

About the role

Alvies is looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist with customer service initiatives. This part-time position reports to our Operations team and offers flexible hours during the week with set hours on the weekend. You’ll work with a small team to provide the highest level of customer service, a pillar of our business. Elevation to a full-time position in the future is possible based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails from customers during scheduled business hours (Monday–Friday flexible, Saturday & Sunday set hours).
• Problem-solve a variety of customer concerns, including but not limited to: fit, returns, order status, and shipping.
• Work with the team to quickly resolve customer issues.

Requirements

• Experience with Shopify is a huge plus.
• Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Outgoing personality and comfort speaking with people from around the country.
• Previous experience in the footwear industry.
• Determination to WOW customers with every interaction.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Passion for leather boots and flip-flops.
