About the role
Air Techniques, Inc. was founded in 1962 and has since grown into a successful corporation, manufacturing utility room and digital imaging products in a vertically integrated factory. The company maintains ISO-13485 registration certification to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of customer inquiries and requests including product selection, sample and catalog requests, non-stock items, basic returns, price quotes, special pricing, and order status.
- Work closely with the sales team and handle consignment coordination.
- Avoid international shipments and organize freight requirements.
- Provide information about products and promotional opportunities to customers.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email using proper etiquette.
- Maintain established performance levels and build rapport and trust with clients to maximize customer loyalty.
- Demonstrate competency in products and services as offered by Air Techniques and continue to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and follow up to ensure timely order shipping and address out-of-stock issues.
- Aid other departments as needed.
- Occasionally work on-site with the possibility of overtime or weekend work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Experience Requirements
- Two years prior call center environment experience.
- Proficient in English for professional environments, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with freight and logistics.
- Experience in the dental industry or similar customer support roles.
- Experience using web-based service and/or e-commerce tools (such as ERP programs for order processing, Salesforce, Word, or MS Excel).
- Ability to work with various personality types professionally and positively.
- Clear communication and articulation skills via phone and email.
- Professional attitude and adherence to company protocols and guidelines.
- Experience in high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrated follow-up skills.
- Ability to multitask and adhere to schedules.
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel.
Education Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
