About the role
Siemens is seeking a Technical Support Customer Service Representative to join their team in Grand Prairie at their Breaker Plant. The role involves providing technical assistance and support to customers experiencing issues with circuit breakers and related products.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding technical issues.
- Guide customers through troubleshooting steps and product installation processes, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Document customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in our system accurately and comprehensively.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and quality assurance teams, to escalate complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on product specifications, features, and updates to effectively support customers and provide accurate information.
- Absorb and resolve product returns, replacements, and warranty claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Absorb and assist with non-technical customer service cases: account disputes, delivery issues, and expedite orders.
Requirements
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered. Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a customer service role. Conflict management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with breakers.
