Responsibilities

  • Aid customers by collecting and reconciling cash.
  • Create daily reports and make bank deposits.
  • Create work orders for operational personnel.
  • Print, reconcile, and distribute reports and calculations.
  • Charge customer accounts for services rendered, including deliveries of propane, labor, and parts.
  • Issue credits and adjustments when needed.
  • Verify charges and ensure billing accuracy by reviewing figures.
  • Reconcile daily payments received through the mail and cash drawers.
  • Prepare bank deposits after reconciling all cash taken daily.
  • Communicate with service, installation, and delivery personnel regarding information.
  • Enter changes on customer accounts.
  • Perform credit history checks for prospective customers.
  • Maintain customer and vendor files, as well as store batches and reports.
  • Compose and type correspondence.
  • Attend training seminars.
  • Order office and computer supplies.
  • Promote positive customer relations.
  • Understand and implement company policies relevant to customer service.
  • Involvement with Public Assistance Programs.
  • Stay informed about changes in documentation requirements, methods of payment, and account reconciliation for Public Assistance programs.
  • Implement procedures for handling accounts and monies related to Public Assistance programs.
  • Process and maintain deposits.
  • Analyze budgets to determine the necessity of increasing budget amounts.
  • Assist in preparing customer budgets.
