Responsibilities
As a Store Operations Manager at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will manage and maintain your property, combining customer service and property maintenance skills. Your responsibilities include:
- Customer Service:
- Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
- Interacting face-to-face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
- Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks, including lock checks and showing units to customers.
- Working independently and as part of a team to rent self-storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
- Managing invoice review and approval within the database.
- Processing invoices, managing reports, and handling the legal process of auctions.
- Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
- Property Maintenance:
- Performing daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, and opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
- Maintaining the facility, including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
- Ensuring a clean and safe storage facility that meets company guidelines (clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, tidy storage doors, and a decluttered office space).

Qualifications
- Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
- Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse market.
- Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office products.
- Availability to work Saturdays (some locations may require Sunday hours).
- Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder frequently.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
