Customer Service Manager

About the role

• Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, full staffing, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals.
• Manage inventory ordering, control procedures, and product quality, ensuring proper storage and freshness.
• Oversee receiving processes, verify order accuracy, and handle damaged or spoiled products according to guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge, including promotional items, pricing, and sales programs.
• Ensure execution of weekly plans, manage scheduling, labor, overtime, and payroll within company policies.
• Lead staffing, training, performance management, and development of associates.
• Develop and monitor department goals, forecasts, and action plans to achieve key performance indicators.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, ensuring food safety and safety compliance store-wide.
• Participate in meetings, communicate effectively, and implement company initiatives and core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Retail experience and supervisory background preferred
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a retail environment with varied temperatures and noise levels

Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills are essential
• Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are needed
