Customer Service / Lot Attendant $15

About the Role

• Work as part of a supportive team to assist customers with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, including checking fluid levels and cleaning.
• Dispatch and return equipment, prepare rental invoices, and accept returns.
• Install hitches, trailer wiring, and fill propane (certification provided).
• Drive a forklift (certification provided).
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Answer questions and educate customers about U-Haul offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

The role involves moderate risks, such as working around moving parts, machinery, or fumes. Protective gear (e.g., masks, goggles, gloves) may be required.

Physical Demands

The work requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing or moving, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs (assisted or unassisted).
