Customer Service & Logistics Representative - CHEM

Objective / Purpose

In this position, you will be responsible for the entire customer service and logistics process. As soon as an order has been placed by one of our customers, you will enter it into the system, organize and execute all steps for on-time delivery, keep the customer informed along the way and invoice the customer according to the agreed terms.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

• Arrange every aspect of the transportation from A to Z.
  • Negotiate with 3rd party suppliers.
• Organize and execute all necessary customs documentation for import and export orders.
  • Create AES, DEA filing, IMDG, etc.
• Communicate regularly with customers and suppliers about deliveries.
  • Check the quality parameters of the products.
• Process invoices and handle any complaints.
  • Monitor delivery times each morning.
• Carry out inventory/stock control at the end of each month.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and management of stock levels.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

• Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) from an accredited college or university preferred, especially in the chemical industry.
• Experience: Relevant logistical and commercial work experience, preferably in the chemical industry. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in similar titles and scopes of responsibility.
• Systems Experience: SOP Software, Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
• Language: Proficiency in English required.
