About the role
Operate a telephone console to answer, route, and complete incoming and outgoing calls. Provide routine information and direct visitors as needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive and document staff call-outs and report absences according to established procedures.
- Report telephone system issues and repair needs to appropriate departments.
- Respond to emergency calls and immediately contact designated institutional personnel following protocol.
- Receive, sign for, and distribute registered and insured mail and packages.
- Perform routine clerical duties.
Requirements
- Customer Service experience
Schedule
40 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch period.
