About The Role

This position is responsible for providing day-to-day customer service and support within the logistics and transportation sector. The role involves ensuring a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in interactions with current clients while actively working to secure new business opportunities.

  • Ensure accurate rate timing and compliance with transportation and contract packaging documentation, processes, and regulations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse operations, contract packaging, or customer service
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and complying with written documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in data and numerical accuracy
  • Organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Professional demeanor with problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related technology
  • Capacity to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer service liaison, maintaining professional and responsive communication
  • Schedule and confirm transportation logistics, including truck scheduling, load tendering, and load entry
  • Follow up on and resolve any issues related to transportation and inventory management
  • Conduct ongoing outreach to existing and potential customers to promote business growth
  • Provide accurate inventory management and ensure data integrity
  • Input data promptly and accurately, notifying supervisors of discrepancies
  • Manage and prepare Pick Tickets and Bill of Ladings (BOL) based on customer instructions
  • Cook up and deliver timely reports, including ad hoc requests as needed
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation and records
  • Understand and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Proactively identify and address issues to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Perform regular quality checks and escalate concerns to management
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operate in a safe manner at all times
  • Attend to other duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Follow all company policies and procedures consistently
