Customer Service Coordinator
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation technology organization to find a detail-driven Service Center Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
About The Role
As a Service Center Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting maintenance operations by ensuring equipment, inventory, and service workflows are handled accurately and efficiently. Your work directly supports aviation reliability—helping ensure the right parts, tools, and information are in place when they’re needed most.
Location: Lakewood, CA 90712 (Fully onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract (full-time)
Schedule
Monday–Friday, Day Shift (38 hours/week)
Pay
$22.00 - $26.00/hour
What You’ll Do
- Manage domestic and international shipping/receiving, including tracking and logging equipment
- Coordinate with shipping vendors and ensure timely, accurate deliveries
- Maintain inventory records using Costpoint system
- Support procurement processes, including ordering parts and equipment
- Create, update, and manage work tickets using internal systems
- Coordinate vendor repairs and equipment calibration
- Assist with annual inventory audits and day-to-day inventory tracking
- Track project costs and support billing accuracy
- Back up front office functions as needed: greet customers, handle calls, and process mail
- Prepare reports, organize data, and maintain documentation using MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Create and maintain project files (electronic and physical)
- Process invoices and support general administrative workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years of administrative experience in a corporate environment
- Hands-on shipping & receiving experience (required)
- Experience with inventory management / supply tracking
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interface across all levels
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Costpoint or similar inventory systems
- Background supporting maintenance, logistics, or technical service teams
- Experience working in aviation, aerospace, or regulated environments
