The world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company, Travel + Leisure, is seeking Customer Service Collectors. Applicants must live within an hour’s drive of 501 W. Church Street, Orlando, FL 32805.
About the role
We use an effective soft collections approach to our calls, focusing on negotiation and collection of past due monies. Responsibilities include analyzing situations, negotiating payment plans, and adhering to business practices, policies, and laws.
Responsibilities
- Contact debtors by telephone, both incoming and outgoing, to negotiate and collect past due monies.
- Negotiate payment plans and determine the best course of action.
- Analyze situations to determine the best course of action while following business practices, policies, and State and Federal Laws.
- Remain focused in a goal-oriented atmosphere.
- Use excellent listening skills to understand, influence, evaluate, and quickly offer alternatives to customers.
- Present a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Work independently and keep oneself in check.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office
- At least 1 year of contact center experience
- Successfully provided the recruiter with the Internet and home requirements
