Customer Service Clerk I

Metropolitan Utilities District · Omaha, NE · 4 wk ago
OTHR$27.81/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we need to use

for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include only sections with real specific content. We have job posting details: Title, wage, schedule, summary, responsibilities (essential functions), requirements (education, experience, licenses, etc.), knowledge/skills/abilities (including machine skill speed, computer proficiency, communication, bilingual requirement, soft skills, basic math, weekend/holiday work, overtime). Benefits? Not mentioned. Pay? Yes: Entry Wage $27.81, Standard Wage $34.76. Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri; 1st Shift. Also mention weekend/holiday work may be necessary, overtime. So we can include Pay and Schedule sections. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. Also no Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate like EEO, etc. Also remove navigation, cookie, legal, application instructions. The posting includes "OAC EXTERNAL POSITION POSTING DATES POSTED: 09/25 - 10/05/2026" - that's metadata; we can fold into short p or drop. Probably include a short p for posting dates? The instruction: "Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include a

with the posting dates. We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include the position summary, essential functions (list), requirements (education, experience, licenses, etc.), knowledge/skills/abilities (list). Also mention bilingual requirement etc. We need to decide sections: About the role (maybe position summary), Responsibilities (essential functions), Requirements (education, experience, licenses, etc.), Qualifications (maybe knowledge/skills/abilities?), Skills (maybe machine skill speed, computer proficiency, communication, bilingual, soft skills, basic math). But we must not create thin sections; better to combine overlapping. We could have: About the role (position summary), Responsibilities (essential functions), Requirements (education, experience, licenses, testing, background check), Skills (machine skill speed, computer proficiency, communication, bilingual requirement, soft skills, basic math, weekend/holiday work, overtime). Pay (entry wage, standard wage). Schedule (full-time, Mon-Fri 1st shift, plus note about weekend/holiday work and overtime). Benefits: not present, so omit. We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not needed. We need to use

  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So for responsibilities list, we need
    • . For requirements list also
      • . For skills list also
        • . For pay maybe just

          . For schedule maybe

. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no

          Customer Service Clerk I

. Use headings for sections only. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown. Let's craft. First, maybe a

          for posting dates:

          Posted: 09/25 - 10/05/2026

          Then

          Then

          Schedule

Full-Time, Monday‑Friday, 1st Shift. Weekend and holiday work may be scheduled; overtime possible during high volume or vacancies.

We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO. We removed that. Check for any repeated content: We included "Provide customer service support on weekends and holidays when scheduled." in responsibilities and also mention weekend/holiday work in skills and schedule. That's okay; it's not duplicate but appears in multiple places. Might be considered duplication but it's substantive; we can keep. We need to ensure we didn't invent or summarize away detail. We preserved all. Check if any content missing: Position Summary we captured. Essential functions we captured as list. Education, experience, licenses, testing, background check we captured. Knowledge, skills and abilities we captured as skills list (machine skill speed, computer proficiency, communication, bilingual, problem-solving, customer service skills, soft skills, basic math, weekend/holiday, overtime). We didn't include "Demonstrate ability to provide high quality service..." we included. We didn't include "Demonstrate an excellent grasp of basic customer service skills such as active listening and techniques to resolve difficult customer relations issues." we included. We didn't include "Demonstrated ability to possess the following soft skills:" we listed them. Good. We didn't include "Basic math skills." we included. We didn't include "Weekend and holiday work schedules may be necessary to provide quality service to our customers, as well as overtime during times of high volume or vacancies." we included in skills and schedule. We didn't include "Required For All Jobs Perform a variety of other duties as assigned" we included as responsibility. We didn't include "Understand and comply with all District policies and procedures" we included. We didn't include "Physical Demands" and "Physical And Environmental Requirements" and "Hybrid Flexible Work Arrangement". Those are substantive? They are details about physical demands and hybrid work. According to instruction, we must preserve ALL substantive information. So we need to include those as well. They are not covered yet. We need to add a section maybe "Physical Demands" or "Work Environment". But we only have allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. However we can create other headings if they have real content? The instruction says: "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It gives examples but not exclusive list. It says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely we should stick to those headings; but we can also add other headings if needed? The instruction says "use

for section headings (e.g. ...)" which suggests those are examples; we can use other headings but they'd be

. However they also say "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could incorporate physical demands and hybrid work into existing sections like Requirements or Skills or maybe a new "Work Environment" section. But we have no heading for that in examples; but we could add a heading like "Work Environment" as

. The instruction didn't forbid other headings; just gave examples. However to be safe, we could incorporate physical demands into "Requirements" or "Skills". Physical demands are not exactly skills but could be under "Requirements". Hybrid flexible work arrangement could be under "Schedule" or "About the role". Let's incorporate. Physical Demands list: we can add as a
under Requirements maybe as a sublist? But we need to keep structure simple. Could add a

            Physical Demands

but that's not in examples; but maybe acceptable. However to avoid risk, we can add a

            Work Environment

covering physical demands and hybrid arrangement. The instruction didn't forbid; it's just examples. I'd add a

            Work Environment
