Customer Service / Bartender - Part Time

About the role

Scissors & Scotch is looking for a passionate Customer Service Associate (Lounger) to act as air traffic control for the lounge, handling appointments, drink service, and client experience in a barber‑shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, reschedule and cancel appointments.
• Maintain an efficient schedule to maximize barber and stylist productivity.
• Notify grooming staff when a client has arrived.
• Check out clients after appointments.
• Learn to make and serve signature drinks (TABC certification required).
• Communicate with grooming staff about client issues and alert leadership if needed.
• Monitor appointment timeliness and adjust schedule to keep things on track.
• Greet and thank clients upon arrival and departure.
• Answer phone calls and emails.
• Assist with membership questions and set‑up.
• Take detailed notes in client profiles to personalize experiences.
• Handle issues professionally and courteously.
• Take and prepare drink orders.
• Check out product purchases.
• Maintain an extremely clean and tidy lounge space.
• Run the bar during non‑peak times when a bartender is not scheduled.
• Create new client profiles.

Requirements

• TABC certification (required to make and serve drinks).

Pay

$17.00/hour starting pay plus commission.
